Yeah they've really simplified it. BUT if you look at the way they are taking the game you can still customize your character using rune stones etc. They just removed the skill points from it. Before it was possible to make a gimped character if you didn't assign the skill points correctly. There were basically only 2 or 3 viable distribution patterns of skill points for each character class. So they removed the skill points and moved the character customization over to rune stones.

At least that's how it's supposed to work.

That was half the fun, customizing your guy, they made it less fun for people who pay attention and easier for people who are retarded.

While I dont agree that anyone ever deserves to be raped, depending on where they are going, its like putting themselves into a bad situation.

Like, if you were walking through the ghetto with 5 grand cash in your hands, some people might say you deserve to be robbed...
