My guy was good. Sized up my problem in the first session and had helpful advice and a plan by the end.
Only took 4 sessions to get better and put me on the right track, and NO DRUGS! Because he solves the actual problem, he didnt cover it up or trick my brain into ignoring it.

I've only seen one once when I was a teenager, I hated the session, felt like he was trying to corner me. A few years later someone close to me died unexpectedly, in the first few hours no one knew what was going on. This douche comes into her house and starts talking about how most of these deaths are suicides, and that he's pretty sure this case is the same (turned out it wasn't), right in front of the girl's brother. I felt like beating the shit out of him right there, I didn't do it out of respect for the people there, but I should have, and no one would have held it against me.

Teens and kiddies dont NEED a shrink. And way too many damn parents keep pushing the notion, and they get the schools in on the racket too.

I mean.. does it feel the same regardless you are happy or not?

The other medication I'm on may make you a little less motivated over a the long term but it doesn't change your emotions much if any at all. The Xanax is more a sedative type drug for major anxiety episodes or panic attacks.

That is one part. There is one more thread created by Keys about viral marketing(which is pretty ironic).

We used to have a member known as "appoppin", who runs the site alienbabeltech. He go pissed that AMD would not give his new hardware to test out, so he defected and turned against AMD and this forum. No he started making claims regarding viral marketing by AMD.. without having any concrete proof.

He also made the claim that he has IP addresses of a few ATF members, which was not supposed to happen. Now, many feel that Keys gave out those IP's.. although no can prove it.

I don't feel any "different" on my meds. So it's not like some super strong OMFG I'm a different person type thing that people worry about. It's much more subtle than that. What you really need is a combination of meds and talk therapy. At least some people need the meds. People like shorty may not have needed them. My doc so far isn't that good on that talk therapy. Though I think in time he may. At any rate once my meds level off and I'm feeling stable I may look for a different shrink.
