I don't have the time or patience right now, but I just caught a glimpse of the inspiration to re-write my massive post for ATG.

It would be full of so much win it would have to be a ban. The sheer quantity of win would melt mod faces.

Yeah, I clearly am going to need to quit my retail job sooner or later.

It's basically 12 credit hours per semester forever, which is going to push me out another year, or quit the job so I can load the semesters up.

Well, let's see... we own a set of snow and all seasons for every car. So I've been assisting on tire changes since I was about 12-14. At the time, it was just two cars. So there's eight changes per year.

Then my car got added, around 17 it got snow tires. So from that point on, it's twelve per year.

Only four while at RIT, didn't have to do the other cars.

So... let's say that's 32 changes, before my car even existed.

Then my car arrived. That's 24 changes before RIT, plus another four during.

Total is 60.

I had one flat during that time that I swapped in the spare for, so that adds a double change, because then the flat just came home in the trunk and got patched in the garage.

I've had 2 flats. One was semi-flat and I was due for new tires anyway and was close to Wal Mart, so I drove it over and got new tires.

The time I actually had to change it was just a few months ago. I was pulling out of my garage with my wife and the telltale sound of a flat was there. It was totally and completely flat. I put the donut on (which was semi-flat itself) and got to the nearest gas station and filled it up with air. Took it to Wal Mart since my tires were still under warranty and got it replaced.

I changed my own flat and patched it in the garage one day, so single change, because I didn't even use the spare.

Beyond that, it's 12 changes each season, so five times since I got back from RIT. There's another 60, except this fall, add another four, because my sister's car finally got a set of dedicated snow wheels. 64, plus the single change is 65.

Plus I think another half a dozen for various leaks and flat chases over the span of several years. Call it 71, plus the 66.

So that's 137 tire removal and mountings, NOT COUNTING any tires removed for other purposes, including pads, rotors, calipers (three times), suspension, joints, axle segments, or any other purpose.

Well, I guess I can count how many times.

I cannot, however, estimate the number of removals for repairs, because repairs are obviously not predictable times to extrapolate.

So AT LEAST 137, and if I were to throw down a guess on repairs to be included, I'm thinking 180, maybe even as high as 200.
