Holding off on hardware you want to buy is hard :( Instant gratification is so much easier. I hope NVIDIA releases their next gen cards in Jan. I know it's more likely to be Feb or March though.

At work!

Drove in, doing 80 in the fourth, some broad cuts me off doing 70 to pass a van in the third. So I hit the high beams at her, and when she finishes passing the van, go back up to cruising.

Of course, being a self-important bitch, she speeds up to match my 80, and puts on her high beams. I lulz'd though, because she had halogens, so a whopping 60W, whereas my high beam configuration features 60W halogen and 35W xenon. Feel the burn, dumbass! :awe:

Work has been freshly painted all over the place, there's a bunch of repaired light fixtures outside... but the worst part is that they removed the motion sensor lights, so the hallway is now extremely bright, and I don't get a split-second warning before someone walks in the door.

In most cases, I'd say I'd hear them coming, but the HVAC stuff over my head drowns out almost all footsteps.

Also, this means if I walk outside, I'm now standing the brightest part of the entire hallway, I feel way too visible.

Anyways, set my alarm for 5:30 to make sure I'd be ready for work... woke up hungry at about 5, finally checked the time at 5:09. I don't keep a clock in my room anymore, my cellphone deals with it - reduces the total light in the room at night. So I was up before 5:15, and thus had tons of time.

Of course, a 5:30 alarm usually means 5-10 minutes of trying to motivate myself to get up. So I got a big head start this morning.

Left at 6:50, roads were almost totally empty, which was pretty nice. Red sky at morning, but it was a nice road to drive on, just a little light, except with oncoming headlights occasionally.

Some teenager in a white POS Chrysler got behind me at one point, windows half-frosted over, hooded sweatshirt pulled up (that's why I say teenager), and high beams on the whole time - my best guess is he didn't realize it, or he was just a douchebag. Yes, there is a significant difference between his usage of highs, and mine.

1) I was on the road, he came out of a driveway. Ergo, I committed no error.
2) There was another vehicle directly ahead of me. Ergo, my top speed was controlled by someone else.

But I'm about 99% sure his highs were on, because I could see the street signs were reflecting lots of light, and I know it wasn't anyone else (my lights cut off sharply, remember). Once we hit the highway, I had someone passing me in the second lane as I merged, and another car ahead, so I couldn't maneuver, and then he used the second lane as a screen to get out and floor it.

That poor car.

Roaring up to 80-85 MPH in a mid-90's POS Chrysler, you could smell the exhaust as the poor motor went "OMGWTFBBQ".

That reminds me... a guy in a little Hyundai Elantra or something cut me off a few days ago, he's weaving all over the road, doing about 30, and trying to light his cigarette. We both turn down my street, and he finally gets his cigarette lit, and floors it. For my amusement, I pursue him slightly, not much as my driveway is nearby - so I'm at about one third throttle, and he's pulling away. I'm already at 45, I'm content, he's not. The last I saw of him entering the curve 800 feet from my house, he was doing 60 or better. It's a 30 zone. All I could smell was that car's exhaust, the little four banger must've been howling.

Oh, and I've lived on that road for 22 years, and the fastest I've ever gone on it is around 50.

I have cereal, chips, cookies, a sandwich, and a noodle/vegetable/chicken mixture (that last will require a microwave).

Oh, how this computer does suck, let me count the ways.

Also, somebody installed Spotify, has a Premium account, and left it to remember itself. :awe:

Oh, and congratulations to Breesus.

You knew as soon as Sproles spiked that ball that somebody was going to have to go get it back.

I went to bed with 5 minutes left in the 4th, figuring that the Saints were gonna sit Brees with a 36-18 or whatever lead. :(
