Hell, you can get a used Miata, do a V6 biturbo build, and probably stay under $30k. Expand that to under $40k, and you can probably be chasing the Porsche pretty hard, with what would essentially be a race-prep Miata.

My brother has a Solstice XP (I think that's the designation; it is the turbo model) and my friend has a Miata. Both the Solstice and Sky look much, much better than the Miata IMO but I think the Miata has a better interior.

I wouldn't mind having a little roadster at some point, but cars aren't generally high on my priority list and I can't really have 3 cars, as I can't give up our third garage bay.

The Solstice and Sky were a little rough around the edges and the Miata was more polished. Still, I prefer them over the Miata. I like their aggressive looks.

At the moment, lawn furniture, planters, my grill, mower, etc. We're not allowed to have exterior buildings like sheds since most houses in my subdivision have 3 or more garage bays.
