I've seen... three Italian supercars.

1) Ferrari, unknown type, fairly late model (last 15 years). Seen driving through the south end of my town, bright yellow, couldn't follow.
2) Lamborghini, Gallardo, black. Going the opposite direction of my car across the bridge for Governor's Island in NH.
3) Lamborghini, Murcielago, black. Came up behind me on I-93, and I joined the pack of people playing games trying to keep up with that monster. He'd break free of traffic, be at 90 or 100 in a half second, and then be stuck behind some other oblivious shithead.
Weird...I thought you lived near lots of WASPS.

I've seen 2 Maseratis here, 2 Ferraris, a Bentley, 4 Lambos, a 911 GT2, several other lesser Porsches...BMWs and Audis are common even here.

I... um.

White... yes. Although we're getting more Latinos and Asians lately in the cities.

Anglo-Saxon... Irish, Scottish, English... yep, guess so.

Protestants... yeah, probably.

But I don't see the correlation between WASPs and Italian supercars.

I thought most WASPs were rich and douchey.

Heh. Rich here means a big house, two or three cars (usually featuring a BMW and/or Lexus), maybe a vacation home on the Cape or the Lakes Region. Supercars are pretty low down on the list. Part of that is the long winter isn't supercar friendly, another part is that the roads are fucking awful (courtesy of poor repair and the aforementioned long winter), so they destroy cars, especially low ones. Traffic is a nightmare too, road design and layout isn't fun... so driving is more a chore than a joy, keeping away some more of the supercar lovers.
