so i'm VP of a very big (not in membership but in stature) school sponsored student organization on campus (We have money from the school. Oh and get paid). Well we had a conference this past weekend. Put on by us. Well their prep work was shit. For example:
Before:

After ish:

That's one example. The before is what work they thought was good. Well I stayed up all night and remade it to the after.
Well opening session. Bunch of high schoolers in the room and the President and I are standing infront of them with our team behind us. P is speaking about the conference and crap. Well behind her they're talking. ON STAGE. WTF
After the opening session the P lightly rips them a new one. Taking about how the lack of professionalism is killing them ect...
Well our meeting tuesday a few members thought that was too harsh... WTF I've worked for people that if that happened they would have fired you on the spot.
Well then they (same few^) also complained that we didn't pat them on the back enough. WTF for what? Doing shitty work?
Then another complaint was one guy said he was caught off guard when we told everyone needs to be there at 8.
The schedule that outlines the even says that! She handed that out over a week before. WTF
Oh to top it off a girl said the keynote that the P and VP found didn't talk about his given topic. That pissed me off. I may have taken it too personally since he is a mentor to me. But the best part was when a few other people said they thought he was fantastic and how throughly he talked about his topic. LMAO
She felt stupid.
The President felt personally attached. Man that was rough. Extremely disrespectful.
