Current situation:
1 bed room apt all to my self but rent + util = $500
A friend is buying a house then rent a room from him = $300


I might go with route 2

Yeah currently spending $500 after $10 for furniture and half of the util
This is one of the fanciest places in statesboro

Not that I am regretting spending that much. It would be nice to have $200 a month going to savings or something else

The plus of renting from a friend is that I won't have a lease. That will be perfect come graduation year

LOL $500/mnth rent. You'd be hard pressed to find anything less than $800/mnth here. Most places are more than a thousand a month. If you move out farther you can find a little cheaper.

and it's 15 min walk from the heart of campus. Large pool. Many hot women. I really like it here.
