I was thinking if I can find a good, but reasonably priced cigar, maybe I could buy a box for our NYE party.

Padron 3000. Can't go wrong with it. It's something everyone will enjoy even the picky ones. It's also a short smoke. You won't be puffing on it for 2 hours ;)

So it looks like I may still be eligible for the next Intel Retail Edge holiday deal. Although it will be really close. They only verify your employment every 90 days and I have 18 days left on my last verification. NCIX actually forgot to close my corperate email account so I was able to renew my employment AFTER quitting lol. Anyway their next deal comes up on the 30th which only gives me 3 days left on my account. Might not be enough to purchase it, but it might. Usually their top of the line deal is worth about $1000+ and members can get it in the $450 range. These are always sick deals. Probably shouldn't get it, with no job, but I can always turn around a resell it for a profit. Or install it in my system. :hmm: choices choices.

I used to work for a reseller and we got insane deals on Microsoft software. Office Pro was like $80, for example, so I had boxed versions of Office 95 through Office XP and also tons of operating systems -- NT Server, 2000 Server, 2000 Workstation, NT Workstation, etc.

This software is well out of date, so I thought I would sell it on eBay just to get rid of it. I posted them and eBay took them down because they were NFR copies. GRRRRR.

You aren't supposed to sell these either. However the only way to tell would be to look up the serial numbers. The packaging looks the same as the retail box. So, so long as you don't say anything stupid in your description like "got this on Intel Retail Edge" or something, you are good to go  Or just sell it on craigs list. I got my i7 970 + an Intel Extreme mobo in one of these deals for about $470. Shortly after that deal Craigs List was flooded with 970 listings. :D
