I've bought 4 OCZ products in my life: 3 power supplies and 1 set of RAM. All have worked flawlessly, though I was worried. My OCed rig in my sig uses an OCZ power supply that I got for a really cheap price.

Going to drive the G35x this afternoon, then to the Mazda 6. Oh boy.

We're going to try to put the down payment on a credit card, and no earlier than tomorrow, which would create the actual payment date of October 1. That'd give me about another thousand dollars on the down payment.

I don't know if the used place would take a CC, they're more likely to want something else, which would remove the bonus month.

Information!

The original Infiniti dealership that sold the G35x was very helpful. The G was sold in 2005, fully loaded, and serviced regularly at that same dealership from 2005 through 2007. They last saw the car in 2008 with 60k miles on it. The only remaining note says that it was at an auction. No other details were available.

The logical conclusion is that the car was traded in with 60k miles in 2008 to that original dealership, likely for a 2008 replacement, and the dealership was unable to resell it at that point, and sent it to auction. From auction, it likely was purchased by a used car dealership, where it went to a second owner. This second owner put the next 40k miles on the car, before it somehow ended up, probably as a trade-in to auction, at this current used car dealership.

So, $13000 cars, plus TTL becomes $14000, minus $6000 down payment. That's an $8000 gap.

Trade-in, and/or CC delay to expand the down payment, is the only way to cover the last $2000 to get the loan down to the $6000 upper limit.

And if the trade-in value falls well short of that, or the CC isn't an allowed method, I'm kinda screwed.

And I might find out tonight that the G35x feels troubled (noises, shakes, whatever), and that the Mazda seat isn't comfortable, and then back to the drawing board!

And maybe that would present enough time for the stocks to rebuild back to $4000, so I can go shopping again for a $13000 limit, but with a short loan.
