Building a power rack from wood is going to be troublesome, a pain in the ass, and cost... about $100? Maybe $200? I really can't tell.

A large metal rack would be $1000, a set of nice stands though, with safety bars, would be $550. It would also leave a lot more open room in the shed. Downside: expensive as hell, and no pull up bar.
