I was advised to do bleach:water in 1:4 ratio, but that would probably work too.

Bleach is watered down already to be effective. Stronger concentrations with more free chlorine can release noxious fumes which are dangerous to those not qualified to handle such material or not wearing / possessing proper PPE, etc.

H2O2 just releases oxygen. :)
Don't be fooled by the benign appearance (clear liquid free of smell). If it gets on skin (at 35% concentration) it will do VERY bad things to you!

The 260 would probably be as low as $80... so perhaps a $300 budget come summertime to buy a new long-term single card solution.
