The general idea of squirrel finders is actually to read unlit highway signs. So that gives me an angle, but the RX-AFS design uses a much steeper angle than my calculations, indicating it is a shorter range design. My angling would possibly bother other drivers, but reflected light shouldn't be as bad, it would help me read street signs, and it might help deal with hills.
One of the biggest problems with projectors is dealing with hills. You go down a hill, and your lights end up pointing straight into the ground, and you can't see shit.
Then again, my D2R's have a pretty definite cutoff right now.
