Thinking about all the brain power that went into developing obsolete technologies, one can only conclude that people are stupid.

Imagine being part of the team that developed the beta max or HD DVD, only for it to basically never really go mainstream. Heck even Bluray is probably on the verge of being obsolete at this point.

Finished the air purifier, just need to paint it. I put it in cat room for now, it might be confirmation bias but it really does appear to work. I will have to wait until one of the cats decides to take a massive dump to know for sure.

Also added a turbo mode. Everything is more fun when it has a turbo. Turbo is basically just running 12v straight to fans. I found it was a little loud, so I added a power resistor to drop the voltage to around 7v which is in spec for those fans. that's the "normal" mode.

The top cover also helps muffle the sound a little. I want to try to find some of that foam they use in things like pelican cases to pad it further.

I lost track of time and I'm 2/3 through a bottle of wine. I should probably stop. :p It's good wine so enjoying it lol. I'm going to want to drink water after I'm done this glass, but that's going to make me pee a lot. So going to be a late night for me I think.

This week going by too fast but sleeping in is probably not helping. Already thursday tomorrow and I only got one project done. Tomorrow think I'll start on the solar expansion next to my shed, which will double as a spot to store firewood to be out of the rain. Suppose to rain but I can measure/precut the lumber, and paint it ahead of time so that even the parts that will be butted up against other lumber will be painted too. Since I'll be in that mode I will probably paint the air purifier too. Though I might also just start on the basement drywall, as it will need to be done before I get the wood stove going. Chimney guy bailed on me, so think I will finish the job myself on a day it's not raining. I really want this ready before winter. At least he did the harder part of going through the concrete wall, so there's that.
