Do you have a lot of junkies?

It's completely out of hand now. There's a poorly managed homeless shelter that attracts junkies and they recently brought in a safe injection site too and are enabling the problem. There was a town hall meeting the other day on this subject, and there's a FB group urging the city to act. People are getting fed up. Businesses and residences are getting broken into nightly and it's getting worse and worse. They're even going after copper pipes now when people are not home. Copper wiring too.

The issue is so widespread though, it's not just our city. It's going to be a hard one to fix since all levels of government are failing us, not just the city.

Figured I'd do a bit of work on the solar station after my shifts so I can be done by end of week.

Plugs mounted and wired in today. Also mounted to dolly. Turned out cheaper to buy a dolly then all the hardware I would have needed to implement wheels myself, and it was just easier this way. Started mounting inverter and charge controller, going to wire those in tomorrow, and then mount the battery. I should probably get a master cut off switch right at the battery too, going to see if Canadian Tire has something that will work and order it or at least make sure they have it in stock, maybe on one of my lunch breaks I can try to make it there and back within an hour.

29C out now. It's definitely a hot one.

Sparking up more forest fires too from what I'm hearing. Still a lot of the existing ones going strong too. The air feels and looks like Toronto. Sky is hazy and the air feels thick.

84.2F is getting steamy, depending on the humidity.

FYI "global" folks: If you're going to quote temps in Celsius, you may as well use Kelvin degrees.
