Two epidural shots into my spine today. Hope it lasts longer than the 7 months from the last one. Pain and muscle spasm are really sucking right now.

Sorry to hear that. I'm thankful not to have chronic back problems.

Chopin Nocturne op. 48 nef
I'm playing this in the background. Much better sound from the closed lappie by turning it up on end. Not sure why it's not playing through the monitor speakers but the Bang and Olufsen lappie speakers are soooo much nicer.

If you're familiar with early Moog music, after the then Walter (now Wendy) Carlos put out Switched on Bach in 1968, in 1970 Hans Wurman did "Chopin ala Moog." If I come across the album I'll have to see if this was on it.

I got a 25lb bag of unshelled peanuts for the raccoons so they wouldn't eat the kibble but it's the birdies that are pigging out. Grab one, fly away, put it in their little birdie safety deposit boxes and then fly back. Well, either that or I've got more blue jays and mockingbirds than the rest of NJ. I know that I shouldn't root for the cats in cats v. birds but then I think maybe I'm just helping evolution along. The birds however are quite cautious and skilled on the whole. There's only been once in the past 3 years or so that I've found any concentration of feathers anywhere and no bodies. So only the demented or junkie birds should have any issues.

Not voluntarily. When the kill bots come, I'll reprogram mine for raccoons. They better have energy weapons tho since I won't be happy about having my home aerated.

The cats are funny. Most of the ones I see now are yearlings more or less. I put the peanuts in my portable fire pit and sometimes one of the cats will park under the dish hoping for a bird. I can't actually tell but I imagine the birds just rolling their eyes - you know if they had eyes that could roll of course.
