In the left corner, bottom stack, a set of 16" Grand Am alloy wheels with all season tires. On top of that, in the bags, tires only, no wheels, 16" all seasons that were from the Grand Prix. No, they won't fit on the Grand Am.

In Chattanooga. Motf what was the total for your headlights ?

If you want to do projectors, start it this weekend. They have a monster sale up that's ending on Sunday. You'll save probably $75 to 100.

I have so far spent $203 and change, I expect to spend another $10-15 to pick up some metal brackets and epoxy. However, I, unlike you, have factory ballasts, which saved me some money.

You should be able to do an FX-R retrofit, with new ballasts, and 85122+ bulbs, WITH their sale, for under $300.

If you aren't on xenon already, still halogen, it's a glorious thing. If you are on xenon, well, it's still pretty awesome.

Go there, register, and do a little looking for information pertaining doing a retrofit to your car. It doesn't take a lot of tools, but it will take a few, and it will take some time and dedication. If nobody has already asked (I'm pretty sure they have for your car, it's a pretty common car), ask them.

Coupon codes are on the center. They work closely with HID Planet.

I have never looked closely at an 07 Civic (that's yours, right?), but the headlights seem pretty narrow (vertically), so doing an FX-R retrofit might be a PITA. Somebody on HIDP should be able to answer that better.

My quick list would be FX-R, Philips 85122+, pick a shroud you like, and Morimoto 3Five ballasts. Also, you'd need a wiring harness that befits your particular car, again, HIDP can help with that, but it is related to your stock headlights.

If you go FX-R, this weekend saves you $35, PLUS -25% off the total. Since a full retrofit goes for around $300, you see significant savings.

If the FX-R won't fit, you can go with Morimoto's, which are a little cheaper, and are smaller, but will sacrifice some performance (output) for it.

I know it's a short time decision, but you'll save a ton of money doing it this weekend. You have until Sunday night.

Some bird took a little crap on my hood.

Quick splash of Spray & Wipe, a little corner of a dirtied microfiber towel, and it looks just fine again.

Fuck you, birdie!

Oh, nobody in my family, over the entire weekend, noticed my car.

One of them thought it was the same car as last time when I pointed it out deliberately when asked "what's new?"

A pack of eight of them walked right by it, twice, and didn't even realize "hey, what's this super shiny (it was just waxed) black car?"

There was a discussion last night, while I wasn't there, about my car, that nobody saw it, how did I afford it, et cetera. Some of the questions were apparently a bit nosy.

Somebody even walked right past it while the headlights were glowing after I had just moved it, and didn't realize.

My goodness.

The only direct comments I got were from a nice older woman who isn't even related to me, it's a link by blood of marriage of blood or something.

My best guess is that a) I know most of them aren't very observant people, and b) anybody who saw it didn't realize that a 22 year old college student could own something that nice.

Although I wanted to show it off. :awe:

I just about froze and drenched myself washing it, then waxing it, the day before, largely to show it off, and a little because it'd been two weeks.
