There was a catlet who was first to the bowl - tuxedo cat, half white. It might be a female because blackie just sat there and let her finish.

So at first she was munching on the kibble. I guess since she's still a bit of a kitten that was her first choice.

Then she moved over to the wet food.

But I don't just dump the wet food in a bowl - oh god no.

I slice into quarters while it's in the can so it drops out easier.

Then I add roughly equal parts water and use a Braun one-speed whisker that's more demon than whisker, to puree everything into a nice, smooth but thick broth.

The kitties love both the wet food and tap water so they usually walk away, stretch, lick their paws and then amble off.

The birds are still a problem with their swooping in and grabbing a beak full.. But the starlings are the worst since they mob the bowl.
