Sold my old snowblower as is to a friend for $100. If I had a heated garage I probably could have figured out the issue with it, but just didn't feel like working on it in the cold, and while being ill equipped overall. Of course I had all summer to do that... but yeah I just never did it lol.

New electric one seems to work great so far but have not had much snow to really put it through it's paces. I like how I can throttle the auger though, I can bring the speed right down where it only shoots the snow like 10 feet away. It's good if I'm only dealing with a small amount of snow or in an awkward spot where I don't want to shoot it super far.

Though I will be nervous about leaving it unattended at first until I prove everything is 100%. Mostly I'll be doing slow burns throughout the day while I'm here, then letting the temp drop when I'm not home or sleeping.
