It's that weird transitional time of year where it's not super cold out but it's not hot out either, so the office hvac does not know what to do so it just runs AC and heat, sometimes at same time.

Fucking balancing shaft sprocket got eaten by the timing chain. It's like they don't know the hardness of each component 🙄

And the master cylinder pressurising motor failed... They did cover the replacement of that but it was because the mechanic petitioned to the dealership.

Did the insurance not total it or are they actually fixing it? Sounds like the engine took lot of damage.

I was looking at the Ioniq 5 for fun, way beyond my budget though, but it's probably one of the "cheaper" EV options. I'm hoping that EVs do actually take off and become the norm, and hopefully there will eventually be a used market.

no I am just listing the problems I had with the cars, nothing to do with the accident. They totalled it and gave me 12.5k for it. I guess it's close enough to FMV.

There was zero damage to the engine.

With Amazon's latest Fire update the tablet goes to sleep and shuts down even when playing music. The only use I have for the tablet is to play music. So now I have to force the display to stay on in order for the music to keep playing, a waste of power and screen. I generally keep the wifi off to avoid update problems but Rocket Player has to call home every month or two, forcing me to turn the wifi on occasionally, at which time Amazon f's things up.

So I tried in both Foobar2000 and VLC. Both times I play the music then hit the power button and they keep playing. I guess you are doing it wrong :colbert:

Even letting power saver turn off screen did not interrupt the music.

Found the original catalog page for my derrick, circa 1914. This was a hand operated crane with about a two and a half ton capacity. Eat your Wheaties!
