The irony here is exactly five years ago we never made it to Port Canaveral due to technical (propulsion) problems and had to stop at Norfolk. The dubbed "cruise from hell" would turn into NPD boarding (21 officers) to control near riot conditions onboard. Definitely not something I like to recall but a stop in Virginia on Thanksgiving week just reminds me of that.
