I'm toying with the idea of building a monolith, it seems to be all the rage these days.I don't really want to spend any serious money on it so I'll probably build it out of ice or something. I'll figure something out on my days off. Ideally I kind of want to secretly build it in my back yard and when it's ready I'll move it out front. I'm thinking if I make 3 big sheets of ice and then mold them together somehow (maybe heat gun?), then fill it with water a little bit at a time to let it freeze, it might work. There's a whole science to trying to make super clear ice but that's a bit more complicated, so I'll live with cloudy ice. Could be cool to embed LEDs in it too.
Err, you can just go buy a sonotube and fill it with water. Give it a night and then cut ouff the form. Put some led strings in long plastic bags and dangle from the top if you want the lights.
