Say alfa would your bed fit in your room if you swung it around the other way so it was lengthwise along the window? Or would it hit the door?

I moved the bed for the last picture. Plenty of room

That may not be a bad idea. The height of the bed is rather bothersome looking. But with no legs you may feel like you are just sleeping on a futon on the floor.

In hs my bed was only 3 inches off the ground. I might go get 4 inch bolts to raise the bed just a bit

I'm going to keep the desk where it is.
Yes the boxes will be taken care of. This is the first bit of down time i've had since august ;)

I'm going to keep the bed where it is but remove the legs. Raise the bed some how. Just a few inches.

Buy a sofa bed to go between the bed and closet wall. It should leave me about 9 - 12 inches on each side

If I decide not to drop the bed I'll still have room for the end table

Not my style. I'm too much of a nice guy. But that's just me.

Why does the complex have a wireless network though? What's it used for?

Internet is included in the rent. 99% of the residents use the wireless. I was told I was one of the few to us the ethernet line. They are on different networks. Ethernet is 4 - 5x faster.

This place has about 500 residents

Ahh. Sorry whenever I hear the term network I think an intranet. Sharing internet certainly is a network but I tend not to think of any pure net sharing network as a "network".

Wired home connection:

But I'm not the one paying for it so it doesn't exactly count as comparison.

BTW ~30mps sounds quite reasonable for apartment internet.
