He said he gets sick in the spring. You can have allergies from dust mites etc.lol he has no pollen yet. He is still in -20C territory. Currently -16C
Debating on if I should call in sick for tomorrow too. I hate to do it 3 days in a row, but still not feeling great. It's the throat mostly, makes it harder to talk on the phone.

Are you on antibiotics at least?
Whut? I get result in like five min.Yeah I'm on Amoxil 500mg. I'm hoping what I have is actually bacterial, so it will go away. If it's viral then antibiotics don't do anything.
Sometimes they take a swab and get it tested but that takes weeks, so doctor just went by how my throat looked (bad) and gave me those meds. Basicaly a 50/50 chance of working.

I'm talking about where they have to send it to a lab. That takes time. Some doctors will be able to tell just by looking at it, but it's not really an official diagnosis. There seems to be a lot of variants of these throat things, some are strep and some other other stuff. I seem to get all of them.
No, I get swabbed and they have lab result in five min.
How do they even do that? Guessing they have a special machine? Here they have to send it to an actual lab.
