Debating on if I should call in sick for tomorrow too. I hate to do it 3 days in a row, but still not feeling great. It's the throat mostly, makes it harder to talk on the phone.

He said he gets sick in the spring. You can have allergies from dust mites etc.

My last day at Tektronix I felt kinda bad, decided to work anyway.
Weeks later I got a voicemail telling me I made EVERYONE in the depot so sick they had to shut down for one day, and many people were out for upwards of a week.
Allegedly they called me Typhoid Travis for months.

Yeah I'm on Amoxil 500mg. I'm hoping what I have is actually bacterial, so it will go away. If it's viral then antibiotics don't do anything.

Sometimes they take a swab and get it tested but that takes weeks, so doctor just went by how my throat looked (bad) and gave me those meds. Basicaly a 50/50 chance of working.

I just texted my boss, not going to go in given it's not getting any better. At least I'll be off for 3 days after tomorrow, so hopefully by then I'm at least in a state where I can go in.

I'm talking about where they have to send it to a lab. That takes time. Some doctors will be able to tell just by looking at it, but it's not really an official diagnosis. There seems to be a lot of variants of these throat things, some are strep and some other other stuff. I seem to get all of them.

Feeling a tad better but hard to tell if it's meds working or if I'm actually feeling better. Been popping pills like Halloween candy. Actually it's been at least an hour since my last ones so I'm doing pretty good.

Nose is blocked yet there's not really any mucus. It's like if the passage is swollen so much it's restricting airflow.

Sore throat is a bit better now though, but still there. Hoping this is going to go away soon, it's just draining me physically and mentally.
