Rain sucks, glad the weather finally cooled off a bit here since we were getting some too. Its still way too warm for this time of year though. But as long as it stays below zero I'm happy.

Was a high of 65F today. Sunny and just awesome.

Doing some final purging of some things in storage. Deciding what to keep and letting things go. I'm not the first one who has gone through this and I won't be the last.

Tabarnak lol. What kind of work do you do to be able to afford that? That would set me back years. I have 10k on my credit line and I've only been able to pay a couple hundred on it every month. I'm waiting to see how hard I get hit on taxes this year from all the shares I took out in 2019, if the hit is not too bad, I will take out more shares to pay off the credit line.

If I do end up buying off grid land I will just hold on to the debt until my mortgage opens then put it on the mortgage.

Lol that's crazy. Too bad it's in Toronto though. :p

Speaking of which, the off grid property I was looking at sold. :(

Maybe it's for the best, I should really wait until something lakefront comes out. I think I would regret buying something without any water access.

Just tried my canned bread. It's not bad. Not super amazing or anything, but I enjoy it well enough. I got the plain this time. Next amazon order, I'll try it with raisins. It's a good winter bread. Kinda heavy, slightly sweet, and a hint of spice.

Tried my pilot bread. Not bad. It's like an extra thick MRE cracker. Not sure if I'll get them again or not. I'll have to see if there's something useful I can do with them.

Let go of some Klipsch ProMedia speakers. I swore I was going to fix them one day. Just taking up space. I liked them back in the day. Grew to dislike them over time. The horns were too bright for a guy who likes it bright. The cheap paper cone for the mids sucked ass. The sub had to do duty for mid bass as well as sub bass. This led to this boomy under your desk experience. I know good sound. This was not it. This led to my first venture into Swans back in 2005. Loved those so much I bought it's successor in 2016.

Also have the death picture of my 35 year old speakers. I wasn't using them. The terminals were broken and the paper cones and foam surround was shot. I've got better. I had fun with them. My sister gave them to me as a Christmas present in 1985. Pioneer 10" 3-way speakers. Abused them back in the day.

I spent my first 2 days off working on a php class that automates adding sql tables. I can't believe I used up 2 days on something that primitive lol. It will save time in the future though as simply declaring an instance and adding all the fields will create/modify the table as needed including making sure the auto_increment primary key is set. I still need to add the field type/order change, but that's less important but I may as well add it in. I think tomorrow I will move on to other projects though. I wanted to continue on my basement this week.

For some reason I have a hard time staying focused coding now days, or doing anything on the computer really. Always checking Reddit, Youtube, forums etc.

I have something to say.

As of January 2020 it appears the world has completely forgotten about Billy Ray Cyrus's daughter, and I could not be happier.

Well, I could be happier.

Any chance the world will spend this year forgetting about Robert Kardashian's family?

I feel pathetic that it took me all week to code this, but I now have a nice php class for generating and updating SQL tables instead of doing it by hand every time. I just pop the fields into the class using the ad function and then save and it takes care of everything else including changing field types and the order of the fields if those changed.

To be fair I probably put like no more than an hour into it and I did get other stuff done around the house too and also helped my mom with something. But overall, too much procrastination and getting side tracked lol.

Basically I've been writing a more or less "base" website template so I don't have to repeat a lot of the same code, implementing it as a sort of library I guess I can call it. Once I have it perfected I have lot of sites I want to update to use the new code. It's just cleaner and more elegant as all the boring and repetitious stuff is handled by the classes. Lot of my code predates to before I even knew what OOP was so been fixing up a lot of stuff as there's some projects I want to revive.
