I heard a rumour we might get Popeye's here. Never heard of em until that point but supposedly their chicken is really good. I guess it's kinda the same idea as KFC but better?

Then again have to take these rumours with grain of salt. Every time there is anything new being built people think it's a Dairy Queen. It's almost a running joke these days "oh maybe they're opening a Dairy Queen". Funny thing is way back in the day there actually was a Dairy Queen here. Like back when my parents were kids.

You should see what happens when a new fast food chain opens in Newport News.

They'll cause traffic jams for two days as the drive through lines back upto/onto and a block down the street.

Honestly I'm torn between NDP and Green... I usually vote NDP but climate is such a serious crisis right now I really think Green needs to be taken more seriously. They're the only ones who understand the gravity of the situation. NDP somewhat too mind you.

I thought I was bad with take-out, I do eat it a lot too...

... not 10 k... maybe 3k, my cc bill is 5-6k, which includes most of the takeout. around 700 of the cc is just public transit cost for 3 people.

And take out for me is just proper restaurant food taken home. Not fast food joints. Yes I do eat fast food but not all the time.
