More pics from the other day. Pretty happy how it turned out. Still need to figure out how to close up the wall between the two crawlspace. Putting concrete is too awkward, I tried but it just kept falling inside or out. I would almost need to make a temporary form and then fill it from the top but I might just cheat and shove a bunch of wood and glue in there to make it tight.

The kid in me wants to put small cars or marbles down those pipes so I can go in the house and retrieve them only to repeat.

Replaced the front fender liner on the passenger side this evening. One clip would not work with my bumper cover. AC stopped working this afternoon. It's close to 100F until Tuesday. I can't miss tomorrow. I took off two weeks ago for my cat. I'm taking off Tuesday instead. I have to get it fixed. Texas summers are no joke!

My car overheated today. Waited for a tow that never came. 100F and it's rush hour. After an hour and a half, I get a second text that said that another towing company was coming in an hour. Just then a Dallas County Sheriff Roadside Assistant crew stopped to help me. Gave the car some water and a jump. I was able to drive home. Did some basic diagnostic myself. Narrowed it down to the fans not spinning. That could be a number of things. Waking up in a little while to take it to a mechanic. I'm going to be really tired today as I won't get much sleep. Gotta be the first one there!

The verdict was that it was indeed the the radiator fans. Wish I had time to do it myself, but I couldn't have the car overheating any longer.

Replaced the driver's side front fender liner yesterday evening. I still have to install the splash guards.

Car battery gave up the ghost this morning. Had to replace it before heading to work. It was just a month over three years so it was time.

I'm surprised car batteries last as long as they do considering how abused they are. From -50's to +40's.

Went to do maintenance on my shed's solar battery the other day and found the electrolyte did not even drop, was surprised. My UPS ones always need to be topped up. Maybe the float charge is too high, but it's just a SOHO UPS so it has no way of changing that.

Our hospital is going to have a mega yard sale tomorrow. I might go check it out. I have a feeling there could be really good loot like expensive test gear and computer stuff that the admins have no clue what it does and sell for cheap. It's also hardly been advertised so most people don't even know about it.

Get yourself an x-ray machine. That should provide the laughs at your next party!
