The fearmongering on drones in the past year or so ha been absolutely hilarious, but also sucks for the hobby as they are slowly killing it.

Someday, you'll witness a drone fly a bomb right into the crowd and detonate. Live on TV. It will be a nightmare.

That's why your hobby's days are numbered.

Which is BS, because they are punishing everyone because of a few bad apples. Or completely fabricated incidents like Gatwick. But they do this about everything. Soon they'll go after 3D printers or CNC machines because someone is going to use one to make a gun or bomb. Though I think what will be next is RC cars. Lot of people into the drone hobby will be forced to move to ground based stuff and then the government will want to regulate that too.

Night shift 3 of 4 almost complete.

Always feels so great getting into bed after a night shift though. It's great to go to bed when you're actually tired.

Someone on Facebook is giving away an upright piano. Always thought it would be neat to learn piano but not more than that. I don't really have room... but it is kinda tempting. I would just feel bad if it ends up collecting dust and I lose interest though.

It's a soup kitchen / shelter so I'd probably make a donation, and would also have to pay a couple hundred bucks for movers to move it for me.

I think I will wait it out to give a chance to someone who may use it but if they really have trouble getting rid of it I might grab it.

Upright takes very little room though state of the free piano will make a difference. And moving it is not cheap nor easy.
