I'm baching it tonight. Wife has gone out for some family reunion and will be back Saturday afternoon. This leaves me with some free time when I'm not working. Must not waste this opportunity. I need to do something with purpose.

My UPS is back to full capacity. Had a battery with a shorted cell. I was hoping to see if I can somehow revive it but figured the odds are pretty small, even if I do manage to dislodge the short, running a cell down to literally 0% and having it stay that way for days is probably enough to kill it on it's own. So I just got a new battery at Canadian Tire. At least I got $20 off for bringing the old one in.

I really need to figure out how to make the arduino analog readings more stable though, it was not this noisy before. I think I'll just implement it in the monitoring program, I can just make it keep a running average, like say, 25 values, and the actual reported value is the average. I will of course have to poll at faster intervals so the value does not lag too much.

Freaking nasty. Cat just puked. She almost did it right on the carpet at my foot but I managed to kick her off but she ended up doing it in my bedroom. Managed to force her into the spare and locked her in there for the night so she can do the rest in there. Cleaned up the floor in my room but now have to let it air out before I go to bed.

Wild. My girl has been eating her fur and then hacking up hairballs in the early morning. She's now got this bald patch 2/3 the way down her back. Taking her to the vet tomorrow to see what it is. She hasn't been doing this for about 4 or 5 days, but the damage is done.

Ah, the joy of cat ownership...

Bed time for real nef. Couple hours later.... lol

Realized that it was payday today so I had a bit of money to shift around. Full CC payment, and a small credit line payment, and stuff. Property taxes come out for the month in a few days though so whatever's left is going to be gone.
