I am an American but like several others in this thread, serving honorably in the military gets you free healthcare afterwards. Moreso if you were hurt on duty. I can get my feelings checked for free.

When I go for physical ailments they now ask how I'm feeling psychologically, so that's a thing.

Well when you start thinking of all the taxes you pay you only get to keep a small fraction as money that was already taxed gets taxed again and again every time it's involved in a transaction, but that goes for the US too. Property taxes, sales tax, and now they are looking at taxing paypal transactions too. It is quite ridiculous how much we pay but it's like that everywhere.

omg so many tickets to make. A bunch of alarms all came in at once, thought it was a power outage or something but they're all unrelated and individual things I need to ticket. Talk about ending a set of shifts with a bang. I'm about half way now. More tickets to do.

On top of income tax there are other taxes. Like sales tax. So 33%+13% = 46%
