Started on shed foundation today.



Hoping to finalize the concrete tomorrow (just filling in the deck blocks to provide a flat surface for the 6x6 spans) and then start on the floor deck. Two long triple 6x6 beams that will sit on the ends of the 6x6, then 2x6 studs on joist hangers.

It's kinda nice to work at this time of year, sun is not as strong and it's not as hot.

It's 99 where I'm at, so summer is still raging on for me. 🙁

I'm on a kick seeing what games will run well on my laptop in sig. I just picked it up off eBay. They're going for $90 and after upgrading it the laptop feels very snappy. I've successfull ran Counterstrike Source, DOD Source, Torchlight 2, Poker Night series, Golf With Your Friends, Rocket Leage (Low spec .ini config, still native resolution 60fps) and more.

Of all games, Starcraft 2 ran like crap in a full game single player fastest map. I thought that game would run well but who knows. On low at native resolution is was trash. I almost feel like my old P8600 (2.5Ghz Core 2 Duo)/Radeon 3650 (256mb DDR2) ran it better.

Concrete nef. That's the extent of my work today. Now I'm ready to start actually building tomorrow if it does not rain, though it is suppose to. Hopefully I didn't forget to get any hardware because everything is closed.

Seems no matter how much I wash my hands they feel like they're still dusty lol.

I'm not sure if I should be letting my cat lick my arm but it feels so awesome.
