Sorry dude. Those built in apps are not written or supported well. I guess you're going to have to get an external device if you don't want to take the TV back. I use three Fire TV devices, one for each TV. That and a dedicated HTPC in the living room. The HTPC ensures that I can play anything (that works).

well I did update the app. maybe some time later the plex people will fix it.
