Car is waxed, gym is done for the day.

My boss told me to fix a scanner at work on Saturday. I could not, and he called about 90 minutes into the shift, asking how things were going, and told me to stop trying to fix it. So I left him a bag of tiny little pieces. Supposedly, he's now enraged about it, and may want me to pay $200 for it.

This is going to be fun, because I'm not paying him. Tomorrow, after school, I'm going to get a haircut (that's been needed for a while), and go look around local places for job applications.

I'm about 90% sure that is illegal, and the remaining 10% of me thinks that he can, but cannot take it in a single lump sum, but must space it out over the course of the next 200 hours worked, which would mean about four months.

Now up to 99% sure it's illegal. If he really wants it, it looks like he'd need to file a lawsuit against me for it.

Probably not worth it though. I don't really care if it hits these temps in an extreme burn test when even normal "heavy" use won't get close.

I thought 75ºc should be the max

Nah, you can go higher. If you hit 90, the CPU will throttle back automatically.

I wouldn't run it in the 80s on a daily basis though, which I'd imagine would never happen in real use. I'd be shocked if it even approached mid-70s.

I need to get a Christmas list together for my wife. What do I want this year? I was thinking maybe a new watch for starters. A new CPU cooler would be an OK idea, but it isn't essential and I don't know that I want a monstrosity like the DH-14.

She complains every year because there just isn't much to buy for me. And last year, I actually gave her a decent-sized list.

I'm having second thoughts about BF3. Maybe I could ask for that for Christmas. My b-day is coming up in about 3 weeks and I told her I wanted Uncharted 3 for that.
