Nah I like the quietness of a small town. I'll take the cold. Honestly if I was not tied to a job I'd want to go to an even smaller town. Taxes are getting too high here and keep going up every year. The -40's can get old after a while though but it's only for like a month or two.

I hear ya. I can go any way. Love small towns. I've done a lot of road trips in the last 3 years. Seen a lot of wild places. There's nothing like having a conversation and saying, "I've been there."

I'm so freaking lazy these days, so many projects I should be working on and I just spend most of my time on Youtube and Reddit. Really need to break out of that and be more productive. There's a database system I've been wanting to do for work and just been slacking the hell out of it. I wanted it in a usable state and populated with data by this month because that's our busy time and it's far from ready. Basically I want this to replace all the spreadsheets and crap that we have and make it into a decent customizable system that we can keep adding to.

Have not eaten in nearly 24 hours. Went to take a nap around 15:00, didn't wake up until almost 22:00. There's about 6 inches of snow on the ground, supposed to get 3-5 more by the end of today.

At 22:00 there was really nothing I could eat, so I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Not sure what I'll have for breakfast. Thought about going to McDonald's, but snow.

With my work schedule being the way it is lately, I've only been eating one meal a day and nothing else.

Ps bacon and egg added to instant noodle is excellent, so is frozen diced vegetable. I freeze bacon in plastic wrap groped by three. I just break off one three slice chunk at a time. cut it up frozen, toss in pot.

Err living alone and not cooking is not good.

Put water in pot, boil water, dump in bacon and frozen veg, dump in seasoing packets, dump in noodle, turn off heat, crack egg. Eat.

The most I'm willing to cook is heat up a can of soup or chili. And usually not even that.

My SO *loves* to cook, which is very nice. Not that I would ever marry someone for my own personal gain.

It's a nice day. Went shopping for jul gifts early on. Sky is overcast, and it's 38F. Got my first fire of the season going, a glass of whiskey, classical on the radio, colored lights up, and an orange/clove scented candle I got for 50¢ at biglots. Looking at a rain day tomorrow. Life's pretty good right now :^)
