I'm not even near it on this side.

The house is pretty sturdy if it hit anyway, the exterior walls are all concrete block with stucco, and the rafters in the roof were built for a barrel tile roof that has been replaced with 125 MPH rated shingles on it these days.

Blown out windows would be my main concern.

The guys on the East coast I'm worried about, barely any wind at all here atm.

Good to know! Yeah I guess most modern houses are built out of concrete I imagine. Here concrete is used for foundation then it's 2x4 / 2x6 mostly. Overhangs make for great wind catchers for a whole roof to be ripped out.

We get the occasional wind storm here (probably not even category 1 by hurricane standards but still very strong for here) and can feel the house crackling when the wind gusts really hit. can be a little scary lol. Not so bad in winter when you have close to a ton worth of snow weighing down the roof lol. Actually it's probably more than a ton... I'm just throwing a number out.

Mine is an old one from 1969, but it was a model house from then in a mid scale neighborhood, and is built like a small fort really.
