We hit Sam's a lot also, is just nice living near a Publix.

Pretty nice markets, have been living near the one here in Clearwater about 20 years.

They had salmon on sale today, but the wife has never been a fan of it for some reason :(

It took me awhile to even get her to try grouper, at least she got over that one.

Well this freaking blows. Synergy crashed so I lost access to my two side monitors, and the stupid update DELETED that package off my machine. Now I can't start it again. The latest version has too many dependencies so I can't get it to install. Looks like I'm royally screwed now... Was planing on formatting and reinstalling a newer distro anyway... but really don't feel like doing that now.

Probably just going to go with Mint 18 but I'll go with Cinnimon instead of KDE. KDE feels too glitchy at times. The save/open dialog in Firefox is all screwed up and has been for a while, one of the reasons I want to upgrade. That and I'm hoping to find a distro that can do multi monitors properly AKA stuff actually opens on the monitor it was launched from instead of wherever the hell it wants. So I just need to keep trying different distros until I find a proper one.

Stupid POS installer keeps resetting the USB bus mid boot, so it fails to boot off the CD.

So much for installing Linux Mint on this machine, I'll have to try another distro. So don't feel like dealing with this crap right now. I just want a computer that works. This is the kind of crap that will drive me back to Windows, but I freaking hate the latest versions of Windows, they're garbage in different ways.

Windows sucks just as bad at multi monitors. In a way it's even worse. Search for something in Excell, search box ends up 4 monitors down. WTF. Pisses me off so much at work. Click file, open. WTF did it go... oh, it's all the way the hell overthere. I just wish Linux would not do that crap too, otherwise i would not be forced to do ridiculous work arounds such as using Synergy. Apparantly I can't use Synergy on this machine anymore, because of some stupid dependency issue. So now I'm really screwed. Stuck on one monitor again.

so? run windows then vmworkstation ubutu
That's dirty as hell. I'm trying to get away from Windows for my main workstation (already have win7 for games) I want to run Linux natively. Otherwise what's the point.

Just remembered that you can dd the iso directly to a USB stick and boot off it that way, going to try that.

I am playing with difference disk, have a base 2012R2 then a few vm with difference disk. saves quite a bit of drive space, especially since I put vhds in ssd
