Hmmm that's actually not bad, they're like 20 something bucks on Amazon. Panasonic is one of the better brands for those I think. I would not chance the cheap brands especially the ones that have the word fire in them, it does not instill a lot of confidence. :p

Rescued a garter snake today. Saw him on the ground, and thought it was dead. Poked it with my finger, and he still felt pliable, and it sort of looked like it moved, but hard to tell. He had gotten stuck in a bunch of curlex, and it cut into his side, and his head was caught.

I started cutting the plastic netting off of him, and got some definitive movement. Some of it was a little tricky, and I had to use the scissors in my Swiss army knife, so I wouldn't cut him. Took about five minutes. After I got all of it off, he slithered away. Hope he'll be alright. His jaw was deformed from the netting, and his skin was cut pretty bad. Oh well, did my part.

I fucking hate curlex. I've twisted my ankle a couple times when it was laid over a hole, and I couldn't see it. Shit should be banned.
