Large companies do that a lot of course, but that is a extremely large one. Surprised there were no complaints about it market wise.
When I first started working at Honeywell around 2000 GE was in the process of buying them up, Was a whole transition going on till it was halted by the EU over the merger becoming a monopoly over the Aerospace/Power Plant divisions , but the big fish do eat the little ones a lot, of course.
