I found a video of a guy driving around with quad FX-R projectors totaling to 70W of HID lighting.

Under low beam operation, it's excessive, and even over a fairly low quality video, it seems as though it will be too bright, dazzlingly bright. It's like having daylight on the road to a perfect cutoff, and after the cutoff, it's utter darkness. And it consequently will appear darker with the over bright foreground.

There's no haze above/beyond the cutoff, which may cause some limits to the system.

Unfortunately, nobody has pure high beam operation only projectors... after all, that'd waste the low beam power, which seems silly.

Tried an A&W Double Prime Rib burger and was pleasantly surprised. It was actually a very decent burger, juicy and tender.

So the conclusion must be that, despite the number of neat low-only and bi-xenon projectors available, all the fun combinations... it can only be a single projector set up. The other segment of the headlight capsule must be a halogen component.

I have no interest whatsoever of meeting people I met online in real life. That is a little too close.

I did a little experiment today... if the headlights are off, and I push the high beam lever, nothing happens. But if the headlights are off, and I pull the flash to pass lever, it flashes the bihalogen in the lower bay. It should be noted that this is the same lever doing both functions. The bihalogen in the lower bay, when in low beam, is the fog light, which is run by a separate twist on that same lever. That lever's entire existence really is for lighting.

The parking lights... I don't even know what they are. I think it's the amber front outside corners? The amber corners inside the primary capsules are the directionals, those are a bit over an inch in diameter.

Well, I got the lawn mowed tonight. Believe it or not, I completely and totally forgot about my lawn the past few weeks with the patio being put in.

Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be rainy days. I think I'm going to build my PC one of those days. The only thing I am still somewhat undecided on is whether or not I should carve up the SSD into an 80 GB partition for the OS/Office/small apps and a 40 GB partition for SSD caching. I have a 750 GB Caviar Black going in there and since I just discontinued my HTPC and plan to give my brother the hardware, I will take the 1.5 TB green drive and put it into my system as well.
