Not sure. I never really "plan" my trips. Wherever doesn't look too busy during the middle of the week, maybe Temperance or a State/Federal forest one.

Get drunk an high in the woods. Never a bad idea. Just remember that federal forests are federal property and you face federal charges for bringing drugs into federal property.

I have thought about going to the Nerstrand-Big Woods State Park. But I just found somewhere way more fucking cool.

Look at this.

I've heard of it, but never been there. My friend went fly fishing there and did really well.

Just got home from vacation, doing laundry and going through pictures. Sadly I totally forgot that when I set my F stop too high I get lot of junk that shows up on the pictures so lot of them are ruined short of trying to photoshop them out. :( I really need to figure a safe way to clean my sensor. I think I only made it worse when I tried originally.

Glad to be back home though. Real freaking water! Can't wait to take a proper shower too. That well water crap they had over there sucked, it stank, and left rust residu everywhere.

Also nice to have a bathroom where there's actually room to put stuff down. I actually had to go back and forth to brush my teeth and do other stuff because there was literally no place to put anything. Was the most retarded bathroom design ever. In fact the whole cottage was really badly designed. Did not even have a proper foundation. It's for sale too. If I would buy that the whole thing would pretty much have to come down and be rebuilt properly.

Down south is nice for the weather but it seems the construction is way more shoddy than here. I don't even think that place was insulated lol. It did not have AC either. Thankfully it was not TOO hot though. Was suppose to be in 30's but it ended up being 20's, so I can handle that for the beach. 30's is just too much.

Well-water is nasty.

It's not bad if there's a proper filtration system but this place had none. It was nasty. Big sign in the kitchen read "do not drink the water". We had to buy bottled water to cook with, did not really want to cook with it either. Most of our finger nails are all orange just from washing ourselves with the water. :awe:

Definitely makes you appreciate city water.

Nothing beats fresh water from the Great Lakes. One of the reasons I'll probably never leave this area.

Unless it's Lake Ontario. You get Toronto's poop and acid rain. :awe:

I was on lake Huron though. Kinda makes me wonder why they don't pipe water from there and filter it instead of using wells. This is not a cottage in the middle of the bush but rather populated areas with electricity and such, so it would make sense if they had water and sewer service. It's a tourist town though, so maybe they just don't get enough tax dollars for that. It's probably dead in winter and most of these places are closed down.
