Cat had kittens.
Inexperienced, she did not take care of their umbilical cords. Found 4 of then all tangled up together. 2 had their legs tangled up, mangled & broken. They were without circulation in their legs for a long time. Possible over night for 12+ hours.
With some patience I was able to get them untangled from their mess.
I almost thought I'd have to kill them & cut off some legs to save any of them.
I really should have done something when I first noticed yesterday about an hour after their birth. Most of what I found online said not to intervene at all & let mother cat do it. Clearly bad advice & I should have intervened right away. Could have saved their legs & lives.
I think it would probably be best to kill the 2 with broken mangled legs. They have very low chance to live at this rate if they aren't already dying real soon here.

This would have been a non-issue if person I'm staying with had looked into the information I gave them for a place they could contact to get them fixed for free. Gave them the information a few times & they never followed through with it.
Was really hoping I'd have my license by now & I'd take care of getting them fixed my damn self.
Shit.
