I just finished checking my batteries real quick, did not bother wearing gloves. My fingers feel funny from the acid now.

I ordered a dentist mirror that has a LED light, to make it easier to check water levels. 10 bucks! I expected those would be more expensive because it's a medical instrument. I guess because dentists arn't government funded they don't have to charge an arm and a leg for dentistry stuff.

Meanwhile I was just using my phone's camera, worked ok actually.

Also good to see my alerting is working nicely. :D

It can always be worse you know!
Let your battery room get flooded out with seawater and watch those chlorine levels soar. How long can a squirrel hold its breath?

Thankfully we don't have any sea water here. :awe: Though I imagine the typical mineral content of flood water would not be good.

I remember once, out of the blue, the maintenance guy showed up with a bunch of fire safety company workers. "Hi, were here to disable the sprinkler system in the UPS room" It had only been active for a few years. :awe:

I have had a network since the 10BaseT era...hell, played with AppleTalk for crying out loud.
