From what I read - any other mobo won't fit and/or align with case cut out for the ports.

Shouldn't be too hard to change it over, cut out the back the size of the snap in plates that are provided with motherboards. If the standoff arrangement doesn't match it just requires some drilling and mounting of bosses to accept standard 6x32 hardware.
