Have to disagree here. People are getting dumb, the news sites prove this, less reading, more videos. :thumbsdown:

I could read 10X more content than what I'd get from a video waiting for it to play. That's a waste of time.

well yea...if we are talking news. You'll get dumber by watching, listening or reading the news.

I listen to a boatload (ha hahaa) of podcasts and audio books. I think they make me smarter.

Podcasts have to be sped up with time compression at least 400% to be as productive as reading for me. Another trick is use stereo headphones with each channel playing a different program!

You would be amazed how the brain can process information when you leave the beaten path!
