I'm sure 3rd parties can do it, but I'm surprised Amazon doesn't have a feature where you can put items on a private wish list and get an email notification is the price drops.

instead, I end up leaving items in my shopping card and just checking it every couple days (since there's a notice right at the top when the price of something in your cart increases or decreases)
