Reading Cracked again, a bit on the golden eagle features a video of its attacks. The best one, to my mind, the eagle slams into a pair of larger peacocks, both males. It takes the one on the right, rolls it over, gets on top. The other peacock, despite having been sparring a moment before, tries to help his buddy out - and the eagle kicks him. In the face. Twice. The peacock gives up and just watches his buddy get eaten.

1) Buy the 2005 G35x black/black/rosewood loaded 108k miles used car lot for $13000.
2) Keep looking; my car is falling apart, timeline unknown but accelerating.

Why on earth would you pay $13K for a car that has 108K miles on it?

Keep looking.

Because it's an Infiniti? So it has 280 HP, 280 ft-lbs, RWD/AWD mixed mode drive, a solid and fast 5AT, extremely stable handling, a boat anchor for a brake system, a durable interior (108k, yet the only wear visible was some loose threads at 9 and 3 on the wheel), a luxurious interior (leather, Bose, sunroof, wood accents on jet black), and VERY mechanically reliable. It's as reliable as any car out there, despite being a high performing luxury car.

Because I figure despite those miles, I can get five years out of it without a major problem, which will put me out of school, hopefully employed, and therefore looking for a newer car because I love fast cars.

I probably will keep looking though, because that 90%+ certainty the car would be fine just isn't enough for my doubting mind.

I know, ICF, you and I have wildly different ideas on cars. For you, it's A to B. For me, it's A to B in the most spirited, quickest, and fun way possible. And for me, a G35x will do that better than almost anything else in that price range, while being more reliable than almost anything else in that price range.

That;s a good point. For that much you could get a 30k mile car

No, I couldn't. Well, I could. I could get a Corolla with 30k, but I'd shoot myself first. Remember, I may have a low budget, and a need for a fairly reliable car, but I like driving, I like fast and fun cars. Ergo, the trade is mileage.
