I learned that on my first day working tech support.

Now that I work in a NOC I don't have to deal as much with moronic stuff, but sometimes the 611 people send us some tickets that make us question their troubleshooting. :p

I'm off tomorrow, so no need to go to bed early. Yay!

Currently testing a UPS that I've had in storage for over 5 years. Not to my surprised it would not turn on, even when plugged in. Battery voltage readds at 0.2 volts. LOL. Most chargers use voltage regulation, I'm just feeding it 12v directly to try to revive it. Then if it can hold a half decent charge I'll put it on the real charger and see what happens.

This thing is so dead I don't think I will revive it though.
