i try to stay out of the city if at all possible, but when i have to go i usually take the train, my truck doesnt fit in the city
yep same here, i feel uncomfortable in the city, and everyone who lives there is a dumb hipstersame. i rarely go into the city. inm not a city person/ i live 15 mins from work in the burbs and fine with me.

That just shows you are only going to the flashy trendy areas, the good thing about DC is that it's a relatively flat city, only 7 buildings over 200ft in height, and of those, 3-4 are monuments or similar.
No huge apartment buildings or sky scrapers, and most people who work in DC don't live in DC, so the city isn't too bad at night.
