Not a loser, public transit here is just good enough that it wouldnt really make sense to spend the money on a 3rd car for this household.

use one of the two cars already in your household?

we don't have public transit out here in the burbs. well except the train to take into the city.

i try to stay out of the city if at all possible, but when i have to go i usually take the train, my truck doesnt fit in the city

That just shows you are only going to the flashy trendy areas, the good thing about DC is that it's a relatively flat city, only 7 buildings over 200ft in height, and of those, 3-4 are monuments or similar.


No huge apartment buildings or sky scrapers, and most people who work in DC don't live in DC, so the city isn't too bad at night.

Its Vancouver... It is all flashy trendy areas unless you go to the downtown east side, then its all crack addicts, so take your pick, I don't want to hang out in either place.
