mostly just annoying... said roommate has been crashing with me rent-free for like 7 months.

I haven't really been happy with the situation for awhile; got into a big fight about it with my boyfriend over the weekend and he gave me the kick in the ass I needed to tell the roommate to gtfo.

he's planning on moving to Chicago for school in August, but I'm going to tell him he needs to find a new place to stay between now and then (unless he's planning on moving immediately once he gets back from visiting his family). while he's gone (the rest of the month), I'm going to put his remaining stuff in the basement for him to pick up at his liesure, and throw out all the furniture in my spare bedroom so I can turn it into a dedicated home office/reading room.

I'm thinking I'm just going to have a desk, lounge chair, and tv/wall unit in the corner.

first it was just till the end of the semester... then it was like, "well, this isn't working out too bad, what about the end of the school year?"

now the school year is a month over and he seems to be planning on staying until he moves to Chicago in mid-August :rolleyes: but, as far as I'm concerned, now that the school year is over, there's no reason why he can't go stay with his family friends in Philly since he doesn't need to worry about commuting into NYC for class.

the living situation wasn't too bad when he was in school and out of the house every day, but now he's just camped out in his bedroom watching tv 24/7 (well, except now that he's visiting his family)... my boyfriend's got a (paying) roommate himself, it'd be nice if we had some place where we could just be alone and not have to worry about throwing on clothes for the walk between the bedroom and the shower.

Package has been out for delivery since 7a. 8p & still hasn't shown up. The fuck fedex?
I had more than enough time while it was en route & didn't realize I could fill in signature & delivery options on the tracking page. Dammit.
