Due to my recent (aka most current) bout of nostalgia, I am attempting to contact my best friend from grade school and junior high.

I can only find what appears to be his older sister on Facebook. Some of the dates don't appear to match up to what I thought would've been her college years, but she mentions people on her page that have the same names as her mom, aunt, and son so I would be incredibly shocked if that isn't her.

So I emailed her, apologized in advance if I had the wrong person, and then requested that she send my email address to her brother if he cared to get in contact. We'll see what happens.

He has literally dropped off the face of the earth as far as I can tell. He did have an Indy address last year when I checked but that doesn't appear to be the case now. So either he is now out of state or something else has happened.

I was remarking to a friend today about my favorite teacher who died over the weekend (I mentioned him earlier in this thread). It is hard to believe that I was in his class 26 to 28 years ago. As I told my friend, I remember being that age and wondering what it would be like to be "old" (aka 25 to 30). Well, let me send a message back in time to the 1983 version of IndyColtsFan:

How does it feel to be old? IT SUCKS BALLS!!!

Great, still TRSa, might have some temporary extra days for the next month, I said one day was impossible, another possible, the third day was not mentioned.

Nobody can take one of those particular days. None of us. I don't know what their plan will be for that, but the general implication is they have to hire, they just wanted to avoid the summer.

Good news for them: no cost of paying another person in summer.
Bad news for them: crash course training heading into our busiest season.

I don't really think this filter is part of SMF's default hardware, from what I knew of previous versions, and because of how thorough it is.

Which means he deliberately, purposely added this filter.

And then to attack w, and break all links? Lulz.

I suppose at this point, it's a miracle he didn't end up breaking something in the forum structure.

I feel like I'm plugged in - my phone is plugged into the wall, and it's sitting in the front pocket of my sweatshirt. So I'm basically tied here unless I take it out of my pocket and place it elsewhere.

Extra hours pay for extra things. :awe:

Oh yeah, that T-Sa five days thing would've put me very close to making monthly payments on a used $20k+ car.

I know I'm a student and all, and just need reliable transportation, but on the other hand, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion I need a new hobby, preferably something that gets me out of the house for a lot of time. And a wonderful car would do that. I'm going insane sitting at home doing nothing so often.

And homework won't help, it means I'm still at home.

I need to sharpen my knife, it took a lot of effort and two tries to cut through some Nalgene tubing.

Well, I still got eight months or more out of the factory edge.

Unfortunately, sharpening it is a bitch, S30V is super tough, holds an edge great, but that means it is super tough for stones.
